WHO IS IT FOR?
If you’re a Teacher, TA, SEN representative for your school, Pastoral Support Worker, Child Social Worker or in any role working with children, you may find sometimes that you require a deeper level of connection and support with them. This course is all about deepening our understanding of behaviour and what drives it, so that in these roles, you have even more tools to support the challenging children you work with.
IN BRIEF
Understanding Attachment Theory and applying it to what we know about a child can unlock answers to some of the more challenging behaviours we see. Once we understand and have these answers, it becomes about the different skills and approach we then use with the child to connect and influence them at a level that works for them AND you. If you want to connect with and influence even the most challenging of children, and want to find yourself in that ‘hard to reach’ situation less, then this course is for you.
